Electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) is the issuing of invoices directly to you the customer or even by transferring files through secure internet connections directly to your own finance systems.

Using e-invoicing reduces the amount of time wasted printing and posting invoices, this give increased efficiency = reduced cost and savings that can be passed on, with environmental benefits too.  It also reduces physical costs of print and postage allowing us to pass on cost savings again.

There will be a reduced requirement for sending out copy invoices. It has been proved that e-invoicing reduces the number of lost invoices  and finally it removes the toil of complex billing processes that require additional workflow functionality and bespoke work at both ends.

The e-invoicing system gives the benefit of order to invoice with three way matching for full traceability and minimised chance of error.
